The question comes up on a fairly regular basis from friends and family...how does one get into the games industry as an artist? I usually get the question from one of the parents of a student who is still in school, but wants to at least look into what's involved. My day job keeps me very busy, sometimes with late night hours, and I don't have as much free time as I'd like to create more images of my own work. I think most of us know how that goes! My job is doing lighting for computer games, and I just did an article on my website about the lighting I worked on for the Playstation 3 game "Resistance: Fall of Man" that came out late last year.
