The question comes up on a fairly regular basis from friends and family...how does one get into the games industry as an artist? I usually get the question from one of the parents of a student who is still in school, but wants to at least look into what's involved. I've been meaning for some time to write an in-depth article about it and I finally got off my butt and did. So if you know anybody that has any questions on the topic, have them take a look. Check it out here.

My day job keeps me very busy, sometimes with late night hours, and I don't have as much free time as I'd like to create more images of my own work. I think most of us know how that goes! My job is doing lighting for computer games, and I just did an article on my website about the lighting I worked on for the Playstation 3 game "Resistance: Fall of Man" that came out late last year. Even if you're not into games, it may still be of some interest as lighting in games, digital art in general, and even real life have many similarities. You can check it out here: http://www.cybergooch.com/tutorials/pages/lighting_rfom1.htm

Heya! All your Tiberian Sun stuff off your website is missing. :(
I put it back up! Thanks for the heads up.
Good to hear! I see it! I'm glad we can still see your work. It really is fabulous stuff!

By the way, when last I went out, I met a guy named Seth.

I asked if it was 'Just Seth...from God, to Kane, to Seth.'
when I was a kid back in 95 I have a demo disk of c&c Tiberian dawn and I will never forget you I was playing on nod side right after installing the demo and you pop up like an FMV one best moments of my life you always look cool
Haha, thanks. That was a long time ago, glad you remembered it. 8)
From God, to Kane, to Seth. hehehe.

So awesome to come across your gallery Eric. Read the Tiberian Origins blog on bennet.org, from there I came across your site and then googling the awesomeness that is the MW-77, I come across your DA account. Glad to follow you here!
Thanks! Hope to create some new work in the not-too-distant future, but work keeps me very busy. Currently at 343 Industries, doing lighting for Halo 5.
